Ed Eggers | Founder and Principal
Ed is the founder and director of Dry Chain America. Ed holds a M.S. in agriculture from Colorado State University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Over the last 35 years, Ed has held numerous managerial positions throughout the Agriculture industry including at DeKalb Genetics where he was an International Area Director. Following that stint, he acquired Sunfield Seeds, Inc. who was a leader in hybrid sunflower seed production before being acquired by Syngenta in 2012.
Emerson Eggers | General Manager
Emerson is the General Manager of Dry Chain America. Emerson graduated from the University of Iowa in 2014 with a degree in Health and Human Physiology. Following graduation, he moved to Colorado where he has since been the operations manager for two companies in the Natural Food Industry.
Pedro Bello | Seed Technology Specialist
Pedro is a native of Brazil and has worked at UC Davis as a research associate in Dr. Kent Bradford's lab for the past 10 years. In this position, he has worked closely with seed technology providers on the development and implementation of new tools for the seed industry and specializes in the assessment of seed quality, vigor and storage life.
Taylor Scott | Product Engineer
Taylor has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado. Past pursuits include founding SolviaSolar, a startup aimed at providing rural farmers irrigation through solar energy. Taylor also worked at Emerson Automation as a product manager of Embedded and IIoT portfolios prior to coming to Dry Chain America.
